From the North

Coming to the end of the M56, follow the signs for North Wales/Conway. This will bring you onto the A55 at Ewloe.

Continue on the A55 for about 50 miles, heading towards Anglesey/Holyhead, until you see the signs for Bangor (B5122). Leave the A55 at this first Bangor exit (Junction 11) - you are now at the A5/A55 roundabout. See rest of directions below.

From the Midlands and South

Head for Shrewsbury and get on the A5 heading towards Anglesey/Holyhead. Stay on the A5 until picturesque Betws-y-coed.

Pause there if you wish at The Spinnaker (formerly Dil's Diner), a favourite meeting place and watering hole for bikers (first right after the station).

From Betws-y-coed, continue on the A5 for another 18 miles until you hit the A55 - you are now at the A5/A55 roundabout. See rest of directions below.

From South Wales

The A487 takes you through Aberystwyth and Machynlleth and eventually merges into the A470 at Cross Foxes near Dolgellau. Stay on the A470 as it heads due north through the middle of Snowdonia National Park, eventually hitting the A5 at Betws-y-coed.

From the A5/A55 roundabout

The Wing Ding is at Bangor Rugby Club, which is on the north-east corner of the roundabout.

"Wings" signs will direct you to it from the roundabout, but basially you will take the B5122 north for 800 yards. Go straight across the new mini-roundabout for another 200 yards. Then take the first right (beside the B&B) and go down the hill for 200 yards. At the T-junction, turn right onto a dead-end lane (Cae Millter) which narrows and ends at the Rugby Club.

Don't worry if you miss the turn at the B&B - just proceed another 200 yards to another mini-roundabout. Take the right turn there (Ffrord Llandegai) - signposted "Penrhyn Castle" & "Rugby Ground" - and then in another 50 yards turn immediately right again (just after the bus-stop on the right). DO NOT GO DOWN THE HILL! You are now on the lane (Cae Millter) which leads straight into the Rugby Club, so drive straight on past the "No through road" sign to the far end of the narrow lane & turn right into the Rugby Club.
